About Rebecca Martin
Rebecca Martin, CEO & Co-Founder of Terra Glamping, has been in the event and hospitality industry for over 20 years. Rebecca is a true Southern girl at heart, growing up in North Carolina and West Virginia. Coming from an artistic family that owned a theatre, she was running stage lights for shows by the age of 9.
After attending Marietta College in Ohio and receiving a degree in theatre and English, she found herself in New York City where she “fell” into the world of event production. Rebecca has produced events across the country in the fashion, art, media, youth and Broadway communities.
In February of 2014, combining her love for event production and travel, Rebecca co-founded TerraVelo Tours a luxury glamping, adventure and gourmet travel company with tours in Utah, Wyoming, New York, and Northern California. TerraVelo Tours combines bicycling with glamping and provides weeklong excursions in breath-taking locales.
Two years later, in 2016, she co-founded Terra Glamping, a luxury glamping experience located 2.5 hours north of San Francisco along the Pacific Coast Highway. Terra Glamping believes in enjoying the outdoors in luxury and features 10 glamourous yet comfortable safari tents with Pacific Ocean views. In the summer of 2017, Terra Glamping was chosen by Gateway National Park to offer New York City’s first tented camping in Queens, NY at Fort Tilden Beach. Also in 2017, Terra Glamping opened a glamping event rental and production arm of the business, located in Brooklyn, NY, servicing the East Coast.
She is the mother of two children, Hudson and Margeaux. Rebecca believes that days are best spent outdoors enjoying nature, but should end in a gloriously comfortable bed in a tent, with a glass of wine and a gorgeous view.
